Yesterday, I flew 2000 feet in the air to report on the 2010 Virgin London Marathon from Capital’s famous Flying Eye!
With an incredible bird’s eye view of the city from the six-seater plane, I had the chance to broadcast live from the skies above crowds of 37,000 people, painting a picture for the listeners about how it was looking down below. Paddy Bunce at Capital FM produced a fantastic string of handovers between the studio presenter, reporters on the ground and myself 2000 feet up in the air. Talk about co-ordination!
Here’s a montage of how it all sounded on the day!
