The brand new TV campaign for Auto Trader has been released…
This beautifully shot commercial, produced by Isobar, illustrates the thrill of getting a new car through the decades, from the 70’s until today.
I play a wife buying a Fiesta in the present day and was styled to be a little Alexa Chung (“What a resemblance” you cry!) The director, Mark Jenkinson, was using slow mo in each scene so I had to be very careful to keep every expression in my face very small because slow motion exaggerates everything! Thankfully we could watch each bit of footage back through the monitors on set with the slow mo effect added so I got to see for myself just how little you need to do to get the right level of emotion across.
Also love the music to this ad! It’s a cover of Etta James’ At Last, sung beautifully by Natalie Duncan.
And if you’re loving all the expressions, check out the close-ups version!…
