Two Sony Radio Academy Awards in two years.
Last night the Capital Network picked up a Sony Award for Best Station Imaging for the second year in a row, under the careful guidance of Chris Nicoll, Head of Production. Capital won Bronze, with BBC Radio 2 scooping the Gold.
As the sole female voice of the network, I feel over the moon to have been recognised for this work. It’s not everyday you get an award for doing something that you love and I’m so pleased that everyone’s hard work has been rewarded.
What the Judges Said
“Capital FM is at the forefront of producing exciting and impactful imaging in the UK. From the production for big station events through to integrating client messages that sit comfortably within the brand, Capital FM captures the energy and pace of a music-focused radio station that fully understands the connected world its audience inhabits.”
